Introduction...
Thank you for taking the time to look at my site.
My name is Heather. I am VERY happily married to the greatest guy in the world and am a stay at home mom to our four precious children. We are expecting our fifth bundle of joy this summer. We have a seven year old son, a four year old son, and a three year old daughter, and a one year old daughter. We homeschool our children. I was homeschooled during most of my school years and really feel strongly about homeschooling our children. Some days it's a challenge and we don't get as much done as I'd like, but I know my children are learning and I love us all being together every day. My husband and children mean the most to me. I am very thankful that God put each of them in my life and I try to do the best I can in serving them each day.
My family makes fun of me because I am a "coupon queen". I rarely buy something at full price. I always get things on sale. I ALWAYS use coupons. And I love it when I get things for FREE after sales and coupons. It can be time consuming so I've tried to take a step back for awhile, but I feel that it is part of my job to help make my hubby's income go as far as it can. I really love the feeling of accomplishment when I come home with bags of things we need, use, or can help someone else out with, and it didn't cost me much. I'd like to use this site to help others do the same.
I also wanted to create a site where I could recommend items that I use around our home and give people a place to purchase them. I thought it would be nice to have the extra income. BUT, I dont have the purchasing part set up yet, so for now, this is just for recommendations. I wanted to use the blog to share deals and parts of my life and heart. I would love to discuss topics with other moms and thought this would be a nice way to encourage one another. We will see where this goes. I hope God does great things with my little website.

Recommendations on the different pages...
I will be adding pages of books, cds, and dvds that we own, use and love. Sometimes it is so hard to find entertainment that is wholesome and enjoyable for everyone. I really look for things that are geared for the whole family because family time is really important to me. I like books that encourage me to do as much as I can, since my husband is so busy working for us, and doesnt have the time that I do. I also like cds and dvds that will fill the kid's head with the Bible while giving me a chance to get some housework done. This is how I came up with From Our Home to Yours :-). I will be adding items as often as I can so check back regularly.
